Car and motorcycle enthusiasts won’t want to miss the return of the North East Classic Car and Motorcycle Show this weekend, where around 400 vintage vehicles will be on display.

The annual event will once again take place at the Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield, featuring classic cars and motorbikes, with a number of prizes up for grabs.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday May 22.

The family event will also feature a number of stalls and food and drink outlets, to ensure it’s a full day for everyone to enjoy.

Those with vehicles dated later than 2007 still have time to display at the event, with all attendees receiving a commemorative plaque and the chance to compete for prizes such as Pride of Ownership, Club of the Show and Car of the Show.

Decisions on the winners will be made by a panel of experienced judges, with the entire event overseen by event regular commentator Richard Lee.

Tickets for the show cost £9 for adults and £4 for children and can be purchased on the day or in advance from the show organisers. Classic showsat a reduced rate until Friday, May 20.

There is also still time for exhibitors to register their vehicles to take part in the event, at a cost of £5 per car and anyone interested in a business pitch. Further details are available by contacting Classic Shows by email or by calling 01484 666776.
