Santa Clara – Ivins Fire & Rescue Fire Chief Andrew Parker told St. George News they received a report of a vehicle fire around 9:30 a.m. at 301 S. 100 W. in Ivins. Engine 32 responded from the Ivins Fire Station with the Santa Clara Police Department.

“We basically had a motorcycle that was involved in the fire in the center of the road well,” Parker said. “No exposure was reported and the occupant of the motorcycle had left the scene.”

Parker said the driver of the motorcycle was believed to be performing some type of repair prior to the fire, but they were unable to determine who the driver was at the time. The fire was extinguished without injury and crews were in the clean-up phase by 9:45 a.m.
