KUCHING (December 1): A 54-year-old motorcyclist died after his bicycle was reportedly hit by a car at KM80 Jalan Kuching-Sri Aman at around 10:50 p.m. last night.

In a statement released today, Superintendent Alexson Naga Chabu, head of traffic investigations and law enforcement in Sarawak, said the deceased suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead on the road. places by paramedics from Serian Hospital.

“During the accident, the deceased identified as Armani Tangga of Kampung Antauan Keropok, Serian, was thrown onto the windshield of the car before falling on the road,” said Alexson.

He said the driver of the car, a 36-year-old man from Kampung Telagus, Simunjan, and his 24-year-old passenger suffered no physical injuries.

The preliminary investigation showed that the weather at the time of the accident was good and was taking place along a straight section of road where there was no public lighting.

Armani’s body was transferred to the Serian Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

The case is under investigation under section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
