RaceTrac Announces Free Hot Dog Lunch As Part Of Truck Driver Appreciation Offers

RaceTrac Inc. will be celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week with giveaways, a free hot dog lunch and even a free in-store massage station.

RaceTrac says it will offer several benefits exclusively to truck drivers at its Travel Center and EDO (Expanded Diesel Offering) stores throughout September.

“We view Truck Driver Appreciation Week as a great opportunity to recognize the people who put in so many hours on the road delivering the goods we depend on every day,” said Mark Reese, vice president of the store support at RaceTrac. “As a business, RaceTrac relies on truckers to not only supply our store with fuel and product, but also as valued customers who stop to refuel with us. We think it’s important to give thanks for the hard work of these pilots, day in and day out.

During Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 11-17, RaceTrac is planning in-store events and giveaways, including:

  • Lynco Products will be offering free items and coupons daily at various Travel Centers throughout Truck Driver Appreciation Week, including a grand prize for Bluetooth headphones. Customers can check rtruckdrivers.com for specific dates and location information.
  • On September 14, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs is sponsoring a free hot dog from 1-2 p.m. at all RaceTrac Travel Centers.
  • Truckers will have access to a free massage station at the Forest Park store (132 Forest Pkwy, Forest Park, GA) on September 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

RaceTrac will also be offering truck driver appreciation offers throughout September through the company’s mobile app. The app exclusive promotions are available September 1-30, 2022 and include earning 2x points on in-store purchases. Drivers can download the RaceTrac Rewards mobile app or visit RaceTrac.com/Rewards to learn more and register.

As part of truck driver appreciation, RaceTrac supports and educates the non-profit organization Truckers Emergency Assistance Responders (TEAR). TEAR was founded by three truckers in 2019 to help other truckers stuck on the road and unable to get their belongings home. The organization now serves as a relief fund that provides immediate relief to truckers in distress.
