New Delhi: PURE EV has announced the commercial launch of its first electric motorcycle, ETRYST 350, at an ex-showroom price of INR 154,999 across India. The flagship motorcycle is entirely designed, developed and manufactured in the country. The organization has started commercial sales at key outlets across India, the company said in a statement.

ETRYST 350 was designed and developed at PURE EV’s Technology Development and Manufacturing Center in Hyderabad. A single full charge provides customers with a range of 140 km. The vehicle is powered by a patented 3.5 KWH battery, certified AIS 156 and developed in-house by PURE EV.

All of the product’s engineering has been designed to provide a very stable riding experience even at speeds of 85 km/h and to deliver pickup and torque on par with high-end ICE motorcycles, the statement said.

Rohit Vadera, CEO of PURE EV, said: “The launch of this high-performance motorcycle would be a demonstration of PURE EV’s important learnings in powertrain design and development at our R&D center. A unique aspect of this motorcycle is the battery, which is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions, the statement said. It comes with a 5 year/50,000 km warranty.
