Porsche 911 RS collection at the Saratoga Automobile Museum – Saratogian
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – Considered one of the few complete Porsche 911 RS collections in the world, the Saratoga Automobile Museum recently announced Rennsport: The Complete Collection (RS) – the second exhibition of this year featuring vehicles from the Steven Collection Harris.
Presented by Porsche and Porsche Clifton Park, the RS exhibition is now open to the public and will run until spring 2022.
This complete set of Porsche Rennsport, or RS, cars showcases the automaker’s decades-long quest to perfect its iconic 911.
Visitors to the museum will be able to see the 14 world-class copies as well as special photographs of the cars taken by renowned automotive photographer James Lipman.
Highlights of the exhibit include the 911 Carrera RS from 1973, the 911 Carrera RS 3.0 from 1974, the famous No.18 1984 911 SCRS series, the rare 911 996.2 GT3 RS from 2004 and the very rare 911 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 from 2011.

âIf you enjoyed our latest exhibit, Rare Air, you must come back to see this incredible collection,â Carly Connors, executive director of the museum, said in a press release. âApart from the Porsche Museum in Germany, this is the only place where the public will be able to see all RS models from 1973 to 2019.â
Adult admission tickets are $ 12. Admission prices for students, seniors, veterans, and serving military personnel are $ 10. Tickets can be purchased through the museum’s website at saratogaautomuseum.org or in person at the museum.
