Motorcyclist dies after head-on crashing into truck in South Bexar County

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist died Thursday morning following a frontal crash with a truck in South Bexar County.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the 2600 block of Rabel Road, not far from South Flores Road, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sergeant BCSO. Kevin Hodgkinson said the 32-year-old man who rode the Honda motorcycle – identified Thursday afternoon as Isaac Limon – was seriously injured after hitting a Ford Ranger head-on.

When the deputies arrived, the biker was on the ground and not breathing. He was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but was pronounced dead just after 9 a.m.

Hodgkinson said Limon wears a helmet.

The driver of the Ford Ranger was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Hodgkinson said the investigation is ongoing and no criminal charges have been filed so far.

“We are still trying to determine all the facts,” he said, adding that the deputies had closed the road due to the investigation.
