Keynsham cars and homes destroyed in a trail of destruction
Keynsham Police are sweeping the town making multiple arrests after homes and cars were destroyed in a series of criminal damage sparked by a row between neighbours. The destruction began early today – Saturday June 25, when there was a row on Coronation Avenue around 7.30am in which a woman allegedly climbed onto the bonnet of a car.
The first call reporting damage to windows to a house and car came from nearby Caernavon Road just before 8am. And other calls from members of the public reporting similar incidents in which car windows and house windows were smashed continued to reach Avon and Somerset Police from Coronation Avenue, St George’s Road and Queens Road in Keynsham.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said they were trying to make arrests in the town during the day as investigations intensify into what happened this morning.
