County Durham Car and Motorcycle Show this weekend
MOTOR fans can enjoy a classic car show in County Durham this weekend.
The Hardwick Hall hotel in Sedgefield will host the North East Classic Car and Motorcycle Show on Sunday.
The exhibition will feature more than 300 vintage, classic and modern cars, a motorcycle exhibition and a number of trade stands.
The event, hosted by Classic Shows which hosts similar events across the country, will bring together dozens of vehicles covering everything from sports cars and convertibles to kit and custom cars.
Exhibitors will also compete for titles such as Pride of Ownership and Car of the Show, with the debates chaired by North West’s leading commentator and automotive expert, Mark Stone.
John Adamson of Ramside Estates, owner of Hardwick Hall, said: âHardwick Hall is perfect for an event like this and it’s a great opportunity to see some really amazing vehicles and talk to their owners.
“It will be an amazing family day out and was hugely popular the last time we hosted this event so hopefully it will be the same this time around.”
Tickets cost £ 9 each, or £ 3.50 for children aged 7-14.
Anyone wishing to display a vehicle from 2007 or older can do so at £ 5 per car. They can arrive the same day but must arrive between 8:30 am and 11:00 am to benefit from the offer.
