Boy hit by automobile in San Jose Friday night dies – CBS San Francisco
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – A boy has died from injuries he sustained after a collision with a car early Friday night, according to a San Jose Police spokesperson.
He was pronounced dead in hospital.

The driver of the vehicle cooperates with the police. Police spokesman said there was no indication of drunk driving.
The boy was taken to a local hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries. The collision occurred in the Camden Avenue and Kooser Road area in the Cambrian neighborhood, south of San Jose.

KPIX video from the scene showed a minor’s shoe on the street that had apparently been knocked over from the victim’s foot.
A witness who said they were riding their motorbike next to the vehicle involved in the crash said the boy suddenly entered traffic as drivers were given a green light.
The witness said the victim flew into the air five or six feet after being struck.
